Those amongst you of a certain age
will remember The Spokane SiDEKiCK, a music-focused biweekly that folded after twenty-five issues. It was a short and glorious run and serves as a fine example of the quirky publications Spokane saw during the mid-aughts.
I recently found that I, at some point, had saved PDFs of all of SiDEKiCK’s issues on my hard drive. And, as I consider the paper to be a memorable footnote in Spokane’s cultural history, I decided to preserve the issues here at the old SpoCOOL.1 Check ’em out and discover (or relive) a small but awesome sliver of Spokane history.
And should the guys behind SiDEKiCK against all odds read this: The Zune ruled. Jerks.

1 In all fairness, the PDFs are still stored on The SiDEKiCK’s broken website; they just aren’t linked from anywhere.
